Whisperizer was built privacy-first, so this policy is short and plain. The short version: the app collects nothing about you and sends nothing anywhere, and your voice never leaves your computer.
Nothing, by default. Whisperizer does its speech recognition entirely on your own PC. Your microphone audio is turned into text on your machine and is never uploaded, streamed, or stored on any server of ours. We do not have accounts, we do not track you, and there is no analytics or telemetry built into the app.
The one exception is a small daily check for a new version: once a day the app quietly asks the website whether a newer version exists. This sends no information about you, only a simple request for a small version file, and if your computer is offline it does nothing at all.
Whisperizer has an optional feature called AI Polish that is turned off by default. If you choose to turn it on and supply your own provider's key, then your transcribed text (never your audio) is sent to the provider you configured, so it can be tidied up. That is the only time anything you dictate leaves your PC, it only happens if you deliberately enable it, and it goes to the provider you chose, not to us. If you never turn it on, nothing is ever sent.
The website is served through Cloudflare. Like nearly all websites, Cloudflare keeps standard traffic logs (for example, IP addresses and the pages requested) to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. We do not add our own trackers or advertising cookies to the site.
When you buy a license, payment is handled by Stripe, a trusted payment company. Stripe processes your card; we never see or store your card numbers. We only receive what we need to send you a license key, such as your email address and confirmation that the payment went through.
Your license key is tied to your email address and is checked on your own computer. Validating or activating a key does not send us your dictation or any of your content.
